Just thought, what a wonderful idea to make something like that, but real. That's good enough reason for me. It took John roughly 1,000 hours and £4,000 (~$6,500) to build the adult-sized kid's car. It runs on normal gasoline (petrol in the UK), has fully functional head and tail lights, an air bag, side mirrors, and can allegedly can reach speeds of up to 70MPH (110km/h). He'll ultimately use the car to help raise money for charity.
The Cassette TAYBLE is hand crafted with birch hardwood and a vinyl label that is sealed and protected with a clear epoxy coating. Stainless steel cup holders give the tape dimension and house LED lights to spice up your party with the flip of a switch. The tape-run folds down to offer a practical storage space for remotes and magazines while amping up the nostalgic look of the cassette tape. The table stands on your choice of carbon steel pin legs or sled legs.Carrying the 80's theme of creating your own mixed tape, TAYBLES can also work with you to create a custom table. You can choose from different stains, colors, labels, graphics and legs, making it uniquely yours. What's even cooler, is that a portion of each sale goes towards a couple charities they work with. So not only do you get a pretty cool conversation starter for your place, you're helping some pretty good causes.
Maleficent is the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty.” A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land’s fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal—an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king’s successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom—and perhaps to Maleficent’s true happiness as well.Maleficent hits theaters everywhere May 30th, 2014 (my birthday *wink*).
