First Look at Josh Brolin in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For

One subject I've stayed away from until now is the upcoming Sin City sequel, mostly because a majority news in the past revolved around rumor and speculation. But since things have become official, I've kind of dropped the ball.

Anyway, we have our first official look at the sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.  Director Robert Rodriguez posted a slight tease on Twitter yesterday, revealing our first look at Josh Brolin as Dwight (who was originally played by Clive Owen in 2005's Sin City).
Sorry for the radio silence! Have been deep into filming Sin City 2. Want to see some behind the scenes pics?
Having a BLAST making this movie. Amazing cast, and they're all doing fantastic work.
Here's bad ass Josh Brolin driving a Rodriguez-mobile. (A green box with a steering wheel bolted on) (pic below)
And here's a quick photo touch up I do to set a tone for the actors. (Probably won't be raining in final movie) (pic above)
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For follows two of Frank Miller's classic storys involving Dwight, who is being hunted down the only woman he's ever loved, Ava Lord (played by Eva Green), and watches as his life falls apart. Chronologically, 'A Dame to Kill For' takes place prior to the events of 'The Big Fat Kill', which was featured in 2005's Sin City, and will explain Dwight's drastically different look.

The sequel will hit theaters October 4th, and welcomes back Mickey Rouke as Marv, Jessica Alba as Nancy, Bruce Willis as Hartigan, Rosario Dawson as Gail, Jaime King as Goldie/Wendy, and features new comers Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Jamie Chung, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Julia Garner and Stacy Keach.

I personally can't wait for the long awaited sequel.  I hope Rodriguez and Miller can recapture the magic of the first film, which I absolutely loved.

As mentioned above, you can check out the behind the scene pic below.

Are you excited for the sequel or do you think too much time has passed and Rodriguez/Miller have missed their window of interest?  Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Stay nerdy my friends.
