eBayer Sells Safe for $123, Contained $26K Cash

James Labrecque, also known as jameslabrecque on eBay, recently sold an old, locked floor safe which he believed to be empty.  He promptly listed the safe on eBay with the following description:
WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS.
HERE IS A MAJOR FLOOR OR IN GROUND SAFE. IT LOOKS LIKE TO BE A 7" DOOR MEASURED ACROSS. IT IS A COMBINATION LOCK UNIT... I DID NOT GET THE COMBINATION FOR THE UNIT .SO YOU WILL HAVE TO CONTACT THE MAJOR SAFE COMPANY TO GET THE COMBINATION OR FIND SOMEONE THAT CAN OPEN THE UNIT UP./
RETURNS: THERE ARE NO RETURNS. ALL MERCHANDISE SOLD AS IS. PLEASE DO NOT ASK US TO REFUND YOUR MONEY.
The winner of the auction paid $122.93 for the safe.  Once he received it and got it open, he discovered it contained $26,000 in cash.  Upon hearing the news, James promptly reached out to the buyer requesting half of the found cash.  Not surprisingly, the buyer declined, quoting James' own disclaimer back to him: "THERE ARE NO RETURNS. ALL MERCHANDISE SOLD AS IS. PLEASE DO NOT ASK US TO REFUND YOUR MONEY."
