Force the New Twitter Web-Design

Twitter just announced a new web-design made to streamline and simplify the overall Twitter-experience, making it "easier to connect with the things you care about".  Twitter also released updated versions of their mobile applications that mirror the experience.  They've said the updated will be rolling out over the next several weeks, but you can force the change almost immediately, starting today.

Simply log out of Twitter's desktop interface and download/update your iPhone or Android Twitter app.  Then just log back into the Twitter on your desktop.  You should start to see the new interface after a few refreshes, if not right away.

So what do you think?  Do you like the new interface?  Will you find it simpler to use?  Let me know what your opinion is in the comments below.

In the meantime, stay nerdy my friends.

  1. I love the idea. Twitter is a great way to implement "mini updates" which don't really require dedicated blog posts.
