So I know I'm a little late to the party on this one, but last night saw the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey trailer and teaser poster.The film, which is set to hit theaters next December, follows the character of Bilbo Baggins who joins a quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor. Recruited by Gandolf the Grey, Bilbo joins the company of thirteen dwarves led by Thorin Oakensheild on a journey that will take them through dangerous lands filled with goblins, Orcs, Wargs, giant spiders, shapeshifters, sorcerers and even the creature known as Gollum.

"An Unexpected Journey" is set to be released December 14, 2012 and will be followed up by The Hobbit: There and Back Again on December 13, 2013.
